When you're flying from Newcastle Airport, one of the first things you'll think about is: what's the best way to get there?
Thanks to its location close to the A1, it's a fairly accessible airport and one that offers plenty of transport options to and from the terminal. The A1 leads directly to the airport and there are a number of very accessible bus routes which makes getting in and out fairly easy. If you don't have too much luggage you can even cycle to the airport, and there is free "cycle" parking available opposite International Arrivals in the Short Stay Parking area.
If you prefer to travel by train, Newcastle International Airport is well connected to the North East rail network by the Metro service, a light railway line with 60 stations serving the Tyne and Wear area. Or of course, if you prefer to drive, there are plenty of Newcastle airport parking options on offer.
You can book directly with Newcastle Airport which often presents the best parking rates. There is a range of parking including short, medium and long stay, some of which is within walking distance from the terminal, and others which are a little further afield. Fast Track Parking is a convenient option that lets you park immediately outside the terminal, just a couple of minutes' walk from the check-in desks. Passengers that choose this option also receive a security Fast Track pass.
If you're looking for airport parking offers, one of the best ways to grab a bargain is to start searching as early as possible, as prices tend to go up the closer you get to your departure date. It's also well worth shopping around too, as there are plenty of off-site parking operators that regularly provide special offers and deals on airport parking, so it usually pays to spend a little time doing your research.
