My 2018 Best Nine on Instagram

Although this is a bit late, 2018 has been a great year for The Pinoy Explorer's Instagram (Follow me on IG). Allow me to share some snippets about my IG #2018bestnine.

Starting from top, to the right, and to the bottom:

  1. This is taken from Dumaluan beach in Bohol.
  2. This is the famous ruins of Talisay, Negros Occidental.
  3. It was in The Scoop in More London, near the Tower Bridge.
  4. I have blogged about it in Monologues, entitled "The Boat Builder"
  5. This is part of the famous Banaue Rice Terraces in Ifugao taken from Hiwang, Gohang
  6. Taken before the deadly earthquake in Bohol, the Dauis Church stands strong. The facade was damaged but it was already reconstructed.
  7. No one can miss the beautiful Chocolate Hills of Bohol, of course!
  8. This is the La Inmaculada Concepcion church of Culion, Palawan, and finally but not the least
  9. This one is from my memorable volunteer work for an NGO working on environment protection in Ticao Island.

The Pinoy Explorer

Aside from my day job, I love photography and storytelling. Going places--be it a cliche destination or the far side of the road--stoke and free my soul. I dig deeper into the people’s psyche, culture and ethnicity, and heritage. I love to observe how they thrive and build social institutions, preserve their culture and traditions.
