2009 | After a business trip to Kuching City, I did not pass the rare opportunity to visit the tallest twin towers in the world. Coming from Kuching City on my way back to Manila, I had a long 12-hour layover. I decided to spend some time in Petronas Towers.

After depositing my luggage for safekeeping, I boarded the one-hour bus ride to central terminal and rode the train to KLCC. I lingered around from almost 2PM to 8 PM before I headed back to the Kuala Lumpur International Airport. I had just enough time to check in and wait for my flight back to Manila at 1:00 AM.

The sky was overcast that gave me a great time roaming around its well-manicured and quiet gardens. It was definitely a stark contrast to the busy and crowded KLCC Mall below the Petronas Towers. I wanted to climb the towers, but the line was too long that time and I feared I might lose some precious time to do my photography. I thought that I already had so much of a mall scene back in Manila, and being new to the place, I confined myself in exploring photographing its every nook and cranny and observing people.

Then after a quick dinner, I patiently waited for sunset to capture the lighting of the towers at twilight, which highlighted my jaunt. After chimping on my photos, I thought I had good shots already and I had to go back to the airport.

It was quite a respite after a week of work back in Kuching.
